Largemouth bass are one of the top recreational fish species in the United States. They are found in lakes, ponds, swamps, and the backwaters of creeks and rivers. Bass are ambush predators they use vegetation, fallen trees, and tree stumps as cover. These are the things I typically look for when fishing for bass.  Adult bass feed on fish, crayfish, frogs, and a range of insects. Knowing this, I use a variety of artificial baits that look like small fish, crayfish, lizards, and worms.
